DIY Boy Girl Twins Best Friends Jackets

IMG_0193-1After making some NYFW inspired mommy and me best friends jackets for Everly and I, I knew it would be even better, and so much cuter, if I made a matching one for Stormy to wear with her. I found both of their moto jackets on eBay (H&M brand) and purchased them a little big so they could get as much wear out of them as possible (seriously, may they never grow out of them 😉 ), you can see the tutorial on how I made them in this post.

I had so much fun making these jackets and I just love the way they turned out! And they were so easy to do, I may have to make bigger ones for when they grow out of them 😉  I think the hardest part about all this was waiting for the weather to cooperate! I really wanted to use that umbrella I had stored away but it was sunny for such a long time and so hot out that these outfits would be way too warm! But really, who can complain about warm sunny weather?…I think it was definitely worth the wait! 🙂

That’s one big banana!!! Ha! 😉 On a recent drive back from visiting family in Oregon, we decided to make a quick stop in Portland to grab some Mississippi Pizza (they have the absolute best gluten free pizza and live music for kids! Can’t pass that up right?). On our way there we spotted this giant banana mural, which is most likely the biggest banana we’ll ever see in our lifetime, so we had to get out and show the kids. They seriously loved it and kept taking turns running up and smacking it! It was hilarious! I’m trying hard to imagine what that must be like, being so little and seeing an enormous version of your favorite food plastered on a wall, probably had something to do with why they were giggling so much. Stormy was also really excited about that little gorilla and came up with some pretty darn good impersonations…it was some great road trip entertainment for the rest of our drive back!

I guess my blog title wasn’t so obvious until the end of the post huh? Major toddler spam, but she was just so excited and cute jumping around! Stormy wasn’t so interested this time, but I swear he kept smiling and giggling every time I would put the camera down! I think he was playing a little game with me. And seriously, can I get some of her curls please??? Where did those come from!?
