Thanksgiving Weekend Getaway in Brownsville
Patiently waiting for dinner…or cartoons
^They never made it to dinner and crashed out hard! It was kinda nice to be able to eat a big dinner without the kids on our laps πThey love their cousin Chase, I think they followed him around almost the entire weekend!Every year we all go down my sister-in-laws house in Brownsville, OR for a Thanksgiving weekend getaway of eating, relaxing, and shopping (for the girls). They live on a huge chicken farm and this year they even had cows. It’s a ton of fun, we look forward to it every year and always leave feeling refreshed (thank you Brandie and Eric! π ). The babes LOVE all the animals and having so much room to run around and play. This was the babes first experience this close to cows, and mine too! I think the Betsy’s liked us (I’m pretty sure all cows are named Betsy, right?). Everly was so excited at first, until one of them got a little too close and came right up to her, she was pretty freaked out after that but still gets really excited seeing all these photos. Both Everly and Stormy have been asking to see them every day, “Cows mama? Cows? Moo, moooooo”. We’ve been going through all the animal sounds with them almost daily and the other day Everly started doing it to me out of the blue “chicken say mama? Chicken say?”, so I was playing along and answering her and at one point I thought she said kitty cat so I said “meow, meow” but turns out she said chicken again “noooo mama, bock bock, bock bock”…oooh okay, Ev’s…should I be worried about how this behavior will play out in teenage years?
