Valentine’s Day Photo Shoot

^#nailedit…turns out my kids don’t like confetti, haha!^Stole Ev’s headband…and maybe her hairdo 😉^Got this super cute outfit from H&M recently, …um, can I please get those overalls in my size???^Didn’t even realize we both had those lips upside down until after I took these! Well, at least both of them are so we match, right?I posted a few of these pics on my Instagram account a couple of days ago and someone commented that those photos with the huge wax lips are “so weird”, while I agree to a point (giant wax lips ALWAYS look weird), I do have to say I never even thought about it, considering why I had them in the photos in the first place. I’m not one of those moms with baby books that have a whole bunch of memories and dates written down, that’s just not how I am. Instead I take pictures of every little thing they do, thousands in fact. I set up photo shoots that incorporate things they are into at that time, I follow them around and casually snap photos while they play, I lean over them and snap a photo (or 10) while they sleep…you get the idea. So after buying these giant lips on a whim because I thought they were hilarious, Stormy and Ev’s got so excited about them and have been running around the house with them in their mouths non-stop. Seeing how much they loved them and how funny it looked, I just had to add them into these photos, and it was only fitting with it being Valentine’s Day too! Now I will always remember this time and how silly they were with those things. Now lets just hope these photos don’t end up on that awkward family photos list 😉
